Shark Attack at Singing Beach – Photograph by Barby Almy

This is my most popular photograph! I took this with my Canon T90 film camera when my son was a small child, probably 15-20 years ago. I was walking on the beach one summer evening. A small sand shark had washed up on the beach at low tide. I walked by it several times before deciding that I could really do something fun with that shark. I walked home and gathered up my son’s Playmobile¬† and Lego people, a fire engine and a hellicopter.¬† After setting them up as they are in the photo, I lay down on the sand and took this image…just for fun. Well, 20 years later it is still by biggest seller. Who could have imagined?? The shark lives on forever.

This image is available in different sizes, framed, unframed or mounted on a block. The prices vary accordingly. (eg: 11X14″ mounted on a 3/4″ block is $60, note cards are $3 each or 10 for $25)
