This is my most popular photograph! I took this with my Canon T90 film camera when my son was a small child, probably 15-20 years ago. I was walking on the beach one summer evening. A small sand shark had washed up on the beach at low tide. I walked by it several times before deciding that I could really do something fun with that shark. I walked home and gathered up my son’s Playmobile and Lego people, a fire engine and a hellicopter. After setting them up as they are in the photo, I lay down on the sand and took this image…just for fun. Well, 20 years later it is still by biggest seller. Who could have imagined?? The shark lives on forever.
