While my early career was in Information Technology, photography has always offered me both grounding and creative release. When I left IT to devote time to family, photography became a mainstay. I loved documenting my children as they grew and developed their personalities. Soon I was capturing their friends as well, then friends of friends and so on.
People have always compelled me as subjects. I love capturing the moments in our lives we never want to forget. Nature also makes me pause. I keep a camera close by when traveling, but favorite subjects are often close to my Massachusetts home. I feel very fortunate to live is such a special part of the world and find myself wanting to share it with others in the form of images. In life it is important to keep a sense of humor. I try to apply that theory to my photography as well.
